There are three different ways to make your own photo calendar. If you have many photo prints which you prefer to stick onto paper and if you want to add hand drawn images, an old style pre-printed calendar template will still be useful. More versatile and interesting is making photographic calendars through software, and the result looks most professional when printed by a proper photo service. The Ethanol & Orphans project is currently underway in Vietnam where we will be building a cellulose ethanol refinery and using the profits to build:
 - a Self-sustaining, high-tech, green Community for street orphans where they will be raised in families with surrogate parents and grandparents, given care, skills (job, computer, familiy/life) and supplemental education.
 - a Medical clinic supported by the profits from the refinery so those who cannot afford it can still receive treatment.
 - more care for disabled children (who are still today being born with birth defects from Agent Orange which was used in the war in the 60's and 70's) so they can learn to be self-sufficient even with disabilities.

We are looking for people who care about:
 - improving the environment
 - using less petrochemical fuels
 - helping developing / third world countries to improve
 - street children living barely surviving
 - disabled children who need assistance
 - providing medical/dental care for those who cannot afford it
 - protecting food sources (we will use sugarcane for the refiery, NOT grains)

A new free software tool combines flexible layout design and professional printing processes

Cambridge, 17 July 2007. – A new, free software application makes it surprisingly easy to design photo calendars with own digital photographs benefiting from professional printing and binding processes. Currently there are “Calendar Maker” software applications for photo enthusiasts and consumers, which provide for little money relatively great freedom in the photo calendar design, but lack professional print and binding. On the other end of the spectrum available are photo processing labs which offer professional photo calendar printing, but usually limit the creative freedom to one image per page in a fixed position. According to the vendor, the new “FotoInsight Pro” Software combines the advantages of both: Creative freedom in the photo calendar design and professionally printed output.

The new version of the photo service utility “FotoInsight Pro” is a Windows software suite, containing apart from a range of tools and applications one to create a photo calendar from own digital images. As already known from the CeWe Photobook Software at FotoInsight, the new photographic calendar design tool allows complete freedom in positioning the photographs, which can also be layered on top of each other; text can be added or layered in colour or transparent using any TrueType font.
