Birmingham, EnglandNovember 14, 2005 – Six months after joining PrintCity, Jura JSP, the high security pre-press solutions specialist, is predicting that up to 70% of its total turnover growth over the next five years will be as a direct result of PrintCity membership.

Renate Kroboth, one of the General Managers of Jura JSP, said: “We joined PrintCity in May with very high expectations.  PrintCity came highly recommended to us as a platform on which to build networking opportunities and our business, and we are delighted with the positive impact we have seen to date.

“The PrintCity strategic alliance has already opened up a number of new opportunities for us, through working with the other partner organisations. We anticipate through effective networking and full participation in world-class projects, we can continue to apply our expertise in the high security sector to expand our customer base”.

Rainer Kuhn, Managing Director of PrintCity, said: “Since joining, Jura has played an important role within the organisation and we are pleased that it has identified how to maximise the benefits of its membership.  Jura is a perfect example of how a company with fantastic experience in its field can combine its knowledge and skills with those of the other members to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency of all parties.”

Looking into the future, Jura has already started thinking about areas for growth.  Ms Kroboth explains:  “We are keen to initiate some new projects, to tackle some of the challenges we have faced over the years.  One particular area we are interested in is pharmaceuticals.  As an industry, pharmaceutical companies are under a lot of pressure to ensure their products are not counterfeited.   This is where we can help, and we believe that there is strong growth potential in this area.

“We are already looking at real opportunities to team up with our PrintCity Packaging Group partners to research and develop new solutions, which could include holograms, invisible inks and microtexts.”
